News/Timelines/Due Dates
Picture!! - In
preparation for our 10 year anniversary celebration, we would like a staff
photo. On Wednesday, February 20th immediately following dismissal,
please meet in the gym for a quick photo. If you do not have a dismissal
duty, please report to the gym as soon as the kids are dismissed, so we can get
everyone in position. Those with an afternoon duty please report as soon
as the busses pull out.
We will take a photo of the entire staff and a separate photo of those staff members who have been here the entire 10 years. Thank you!
Math
Counts – Our team came in second this past weekend. Hubert Tang placed
first overall! Thanks Michelle and Shawn for your work with this group.
Progress Reports - Progress Reports will go home on
Wednesday, the 13th. Students will return to homerooms at
3:50.
Cafeteria Kudos – Once again, the cafeteria got a health inspection of 100!!! Way to go team.
Pride – There is
no PRIDE this Friday due to the Fulton County holiday and 4-day weekend.
We will resume PRIDE on Friday, Feb. 22nd with the student choice
lessons.
Tim Anderson says, “This
week Livingston the Lion is being given to Fran Meredith. It’s hard to
pass by Fran without feeling a little more cheerful about your day. If
you’re lucky enough to have an 8th grade counseling question or
problem then you’ll really see her in her element. Her positive attitude
and outlook shine through crabby kids and cranky parents. Her dedication
to helping students (and helping teachers help students) is obvious every time
you walk in her office or pass her in the hall. If you have a horrible
boyfriend problem or a horrible schedule problem, she’s the one to see.
Thank you Fran for the countless other unseen things you do to keep our best
and brightest at their best and brightest, and for doing it with a smile!
Happy Birthday
