Where is Livingston?
Marion Edmonds says, “I am passing Livingston on to Donna
McNaughton. When the 8th grade math SEC teacher left without notice
in the middle of the year Donna stepped in as the long term substitute. Donna
has worked tirelessly with some of our school’s most challenging students. She
is one of the first to come in the mornings and one of the last to leave in the
evenings. In the mornings Donna can be found offering extra help to her 8th
grade math students. After school Donna spends long hours grading papers,
collecting data and most importantly figuring out how to break down the 8th
grade standards in a way so that her students will be able to make sense of
them. Donna has embraced the SEC math job with passion, energy and commitment.
She is dedicated to doing the best job she can to help her students understand
math and be successful in math. Donna’s love for the students is evident. She
cares deeply about each and every student she teaches. Donna has jumped right
in and accepted not only the job of teaching SEC students but also much of the
responsibility for the paperwork and data collection that is part of the SEC
world. We are so lucky to have Donna McNaughton at AMMS. It is a privilege
and an honor to work with her.
Happy Birthday
